Suzanne is an instructor at Saddleback Academy of Music.
The Saddleback Academy of Music began over 10 years ago and today it continues carrying on the legacy of its founder, Worship Pastor Rick Muchow by equipping students with the skills necessary for excellent musicianship. Suzanne received her masters degree from the Conservatory of Music in Quebec, Canada and graduated with honors form the Percussion Institute of Technology in Hollywood,CA. As a professional musician she has performed with the Quebec Symphony as well as many artists. She is a member of the Jennifer York quartet and has played with the Drifters, Nancy Sinatra, Steven Dorrff and many others. As a studio musician she has recorded on Grammy Award winner Chris Bennett’s album, Mark Stephens album, and Artist Alissa of Capitol records album. Her broad knowledge of music and in-depth understanding the role of percussion has made her a much sought after instructor.
Suzanne also offers private instruction. in Mission Viejo and the surrounding areas, conveniently in your own home or via ZOOM or FaceBook Live.
Lessons will cover technique and in the areas of:
- • Beginning to Advanced Drum and Snare Drum techniques
- • Basics in tuning and drum set up
- • Learn to play all genres including Rock, Pop, Blues, Funk, and Jazz
- • Reading Music
- • How to play with a band.
- • All experience levels are taught. The most important prerequisite is dedication, determination and the desire to learn!
